About me
My animal family
I live in Sevenoaks, Kent with my wife Vicki and our two dogs, Stanley the Boxer and Mavis the Yorkshire Terrier. We have a smallholding nearby which is home to our extended animal family - at last count, Ted (our gorgeous Fresian horse), George the French Trotter X Cob (who came to us from the RSPCA), 3 feral cats (Bunnie, Lily and Nora, who no longer consider themself feral and love human company), 3 Pygmy goats (Willow, Badger and Minnie), Pete the Peacock and a variety of ducks and chickens.
My art
I am a self taught artist and have always painted as a hobby. When I met Vicki, I painted her horse, Sidney - and my career as a pet portrait artist began. Sidney was a much loved member of our animal family until he passed away in September 2008 and this painting has pride of place in our home. Since then, I haven't had time to paint any more of my own animals as I've been too busy painting commissions (I am not complaining but Vicki does every now and then!).
Pet Care
I love being outdoors. And I love animals. So it made sense that as well as painting them, I could spend time with them by offering pet care and dog walking services locally. I am able to fit my painting work around my bookings and it works really well. Please see my Pet Care page for more information. The walks are really stunning, I count myself very lucky to live in such a peaceful and beautiful area.
